Hi community,

I'm wondering  if there is possible to install iperf on Extreme switch?

Sure, if you have Switches, that support "integrated Application hosting", like some models of X465, the X695 or more modern versions like Universal switches 5720-MXW models, all 7x20 models. the "default" VM support is the TPVM (third party VM) which basically is a Linux VM, that has iperf (and other nice tools) pre-installed . Beside the switch you usually (for the smaller series) you would need the SSD, where this TPVM is packaged and the Premier license to activate/configure the feature "Application Hosting"  - for more details have a look at chapter "Intergated Application Hosting" in SwitchEngine User guide.

No, it is not possible. And why would you, you want to measure the HW performance through the switch, not from the switch CPU to something.

I'd like to measure provider dataline bandwidth and extreme switch is the only one device which is manageable.
