Hello,
Just put a new 3 switch stack of 5520’s in a site and I’m wondering if this one RX power is to be alarmed about.
All ports below are 10gbps 850nm sm. See the one for port 2:59 has a * (star) next to RxPower. Is that bad? Indicative of just needing the ports on either end cleaned and the cable?
Port Temp TxPower RxPower TxBiasCurrent Voltage-Aux1/ Voltage-Aux2

N/A - parameter not applicable to transceiver connected to the port
D - Optic supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring Interface (DDMI) which is off
* - value is out of normal range
-inf - negative infinity, parameter not defined

Check show port transceiver info detail.
It will show if the port is in the normal range or not and what the normal range is.
Cleaning or change cables would probably improve the rxPower.

I swapped the SFP and everything is in range now.

Ok here’s what I got, seems power is a little high, like I would need an attenuation?
Interesting because 0 should be perfect, anything less would be lower anything positive would be higher. For example in a cable modem 0dbmv is perfect signal, but too much is just as bad (say anything over 12 dbmv) as too little (say anything less than -12 dbmv).
