OSPF Area Filter

Hi all,

is there a way to avoid exported static routes from being announced into a specific OSPF Area?
I tried configure ospf area x.x.x.x external-filter, but even when applying a deny all policy, it still announces the static routes into that area.
Also tried stub and nssa areas with no success.

The static routes are in the same router that has the 2 areas.

I see. You're filtering on the ABR not the ASBR. I would recommend contacting TAC to test the behavior.

Also tried creating a deny all policy and applying to both "interarea-filter" and "external-filter", no success.
Seems to be a bug.

NSSA won't filter out non-OSPF route. You might want to try stub area instead. (from ethernet)
