Hi,
I’m having a problem with X670V port. In my set-up it’s connected to port of X460. This is how it looks in port information details:
on X460:
Type: UTP
Random Early drop: Unsupported
Admin state: Enabled with auto-speed sensing auto-duplex
Link State: Active, 1Gbps, full-duplex
and on X670V:
Type: 1000T
Random Early drop: Unsupported
Admin state: Enabled with auto-speed sensing (1G Advertised), auto-duplex (full-duplex Advertised)
Link State: Ready
Any idea what can be the reason why this port is not active? I would say that it’s physical fault of SFP but I have 2 identical cases (2 different pairs of switches).

It turned out acctually a wrong type of SFP was used: Ericsson RYT921609/1 . With Extreme 10/100/1000BASE-T it works.
Thanks everyone for your comments.

I was lucky and got the SFP number “FCLF8520P2BTL-ER”.

Unfortunately this module doesn’t support DDMI and it’s in remote location so I have to get someone to take a look at it. If I get the info, I’ll post it.
I also thought of setting the speed manually but it can’t be done for this port.

Could be SFP, but I’ve had issues with auto negotiations. Try setting it to 1000/Full.
