Summit X440-24P does not boot up properly!!!

I have a Summit X440-24P switch, recently when i turn it off and turn it on tomorrow it boots up to factory default despite the fact i have primary.cfg configured as my active configuration and image secondary has been configured my active image by USE command! but the switches with no reason boots up to factory default and primary image!!!! can anyone help me to tackle this issue?!

Primary ver: 15.5.3.4
Secondary ver: 16.1.3.6 patch1-7

i have used command use image secondary and also use configuration primary but the switch boots uo to factory default every time i turn it off and one!!!!!

It sounds like the battery in the switch is dead. It's a CR 2032 battery, you need to open the switch (which void the warranty, but a x440-24p is EoL I think), while it's powered off and unplugged (for safety reasons), find the battery and change it.

I don't think the x440 (gen1) used a CR battery.. I think it was a M4T28-BR12SH1..

and yes, the first gen x440 has long gone end-of-life
