Dear all
I am using summit X440 stacked switch. when I checked the log I found the following logs.
"03/08/2017 07:18:18.62 Slot-3: IPv4 multicast entry not added. Hardware L3 Table full. (Logged at most once per hour.)03/08/2017 07:18:14.45 Slot-4: IPv4 multicast entry not added. Hardware L3 Table full. (Logged at most once per hour.)
03/08/2017 07:18:07.75 Slot-2: IPv4 multicast entry not added. Hardware L3 Table full. (Logged at most once per hour.)
03/08/2017 07:18:05.73 Slot-1: IPv4 multicast entry not added. Hardware L3 Table full. (Logged at most once per hour.)"
As I am using IPTV in my network and is not having any issue till now, will this log make any problem?
How can I solve this issue by adding the IPv4 multicast entry?
so I kindly request you to please reply to this with the solution.
Thanks and regards
Abdul Raheem

Hello,
please check gtacknowledge and do some searching there, the error indicates some multicast entries cannot be programmed in HW and are switched by the CPU (slower). There are plenty of solutions for this, for example this article can help you.
