Unable to access admin account- HELP!!

I have a 460, running 15.2.1.5-patch1-1,

I issued the following command;

configure account admin password encrypted *****

and the switch reboot. I can no longer get into the admin account.

I tried going into bootrom, config none, reboot..

But that does not work either! Help! (from Jeremy_Homan)

Hello,

A couple of observations. You ideally do not want to use the encrypted option. Also, when changing the admin password, you would want to have an alternate account that works. This can be failsafe account. Now back to the problem. When you reboot the switch, make sure to interrupt at the bootrom and not the bootstrap. The config none should reset the switch as you have indicated and the reboot should restore the switch to factory default. If not, you may need to open a case with tac. (from Anush_Santhanam)
