This is newly configured switch which will be connected to the production network. Before it I have to be sure about one thing. I have set up below EAPS config and VLANs. And still uplinks 1:52 and 2:53 are not connected (other nodes of the EAPS ring is already configured in live network).
My question is when I check the show vlan ..... , uplinks are shown as blocked. Is this because of device is not connected via uplinks? or some other reason ?

When you configure EAPS protected vlan and the ports are in "Ready" state and you enable both EAPS globally and the domain, it appears as "Blocked".
If you disable the respective eaps domain (disable eaps eaps10_8_2) you should see the "b" flag removed from the ports in the protected vlan.
That's an expected behavior.

Hello Weda,
I quickly replicated this and see the same results. I would assume it is because there are no active uplinks so it is blocking the ports in the protected VLANs.
