X450a-48tdc VR configuration

Does anyone know how to create VR on x450a with Core license, or does the x450a-48tdc support the virtual router function? Version is 12.6,thanks.

Hi!

Right, no new VRs can be created, but you do have the system default ones:

* X450a-48t.12 # show lic
 Enabled License Level:
 Core Enabled Feature Packs: None
* X450a-48t.13 # show vr
 vrrp Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol
 <vr-name> Virtual router name
 "VR-Default" "VR-Mgmt" 
* X450a-48t.13 # create virtual-router vr-test
 ^ %% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
* X450a-48t.14 #

VR-Mgmt can only be used for the management port, nothing else, so you need to stick to VR-Default for your normal traffic.
