I would like to use the X590 QSFP+ ports as 10 Gb uplinks to another brand gear that is a few meters away.

Am I right that I need the 40G-SR4-QSFP150M module and Patch-Fiber 5M MPO-4xLC MMF (10332) cable? Are those four LCs duplex so eight LC connectors altogether?

yes, you can partition the qsfp+ ports to 4x10Gb and then use a suitable solution to physically split the connection to four 10Gb links.. one such option is via the MPO transceiver that you mentioned and the 10332 cable... and yes, 10332 has a MPO connector on one side and four duplex-LC connectors on the other side

Thanks, that sounds like what I would need. To get 10 Gb links to connect to a different brand SFP+ ports.

About the only issue would be that some of the connections are about 4-5 meters away and others only  about 0,5m-1m away. So with this I would have to coil the extra MMF cable and put it somewhere.

I couldn't find a solution where I could split the QSFP+ port to 4 female LC pairs and use my own MMF cables from there. Like a small adapter/jumper cable. Does such a thing exist?

I guess I would need an MPO trunk cable and an MPO cassette with female LC connectors. From there I could use any length patch cable. You always learn something new.
