800series - enable https - slow GUI response

If I enable https/ssh the GUI took forever to load a page.
In Chrome it took so long that I get a session timeout (=5minutes).
Is there anything to improve the loading time as I don't think that this behavior is normal.
Running lates code 1.2.2.6 and tried it with different clients/switches/browser.

Or do I need to configure anything else beside enable the SSL state....

The problem with this switch is that the management of it is a bit slow.
