Chain Configuration on ISW variants with 4 SFP ports

Chain Configuration on ISW variants with 4 SFP ports

Is it possible for any of the 16xxx Industrial Switch varaiants with 4 SFP ports to be members of more than one chain?  I see in the documentation and understand the concept of being a participant in two rings - for example, ports 9+10 in one ring and ports 11+12 in another.

I see no mention of it in available online resources and I see no method using the ringV2 section in the configuration GUI to set this up.  CLI commands maybe?

I'm not sure about Ringv2, but I know you can do this with ERPS. That said, ERPS configuration gets pretty gross and sometimes it is easier to just do STP (which is saying a lot about ERPS).

The best resources on how to configure ISWs for sub-rings with ERPS are probably the following config examples that include both ISW and EXOS.

Hope that helps!
