Hello Luis,
Are you using Extreme Management Center as Network Management system?
If yes, you could reference to the following script
Netsight: How to configure a summit switch to send a SNMP v3 trap to Netsight, and have Netsight correctly log the trap for that switch

Use the command "show management" and check the counter "SNMP traps" is increased.
Please use the below url to download the MIB Browser Personal Edition (3rd party):
http://www.ireasoning.com/download.shtml
After installing, go-to tab Tools -> Trap receiver -> then initiate a port UP/DOWN from switch trap and you will see the SNMP traps in ireasoning tool.

Please log into the switch and type in the following command:
“configure snmp add trapreceiver community ”
If no SNMP trap receiver is configured, EXOS will not send traps. Use command "show configuration snmp" and "show management" output to see the trap receiver is configured.
