Sure, VRRP does not limit the number of router per subnet.

Assuming you are running Fabric Connect, the usefullness of multiple routers depends of their location within the fabric. if these routers are at the edge of the fabric (so no L2 BEBs attached), than using VRRP backup-master wou would make sure, traffic is routed on the node, where it arrives into the fabric...

if these routers are located withing the core of the fabric and surounded by BEBs, than traffic would always be tunneled to the node, that answered the ARP, which is the VRRP master. So having four of them would not help much. (except you have them located in different buildings and preparing for some split network scenario).

Hello,

All correct.

Conclusion, to give a correct advice we must know the context, is it a "FABRIC" (SPBM-FC) network? is it a "legacy"? is the existing an SMLT cluster? ...

Hello,

There is no limitation in the number of nodes running vrrp in a subnet.
Do not forget to enable VRRP-Master functionality on each node and each VRRP interface.

Hello,

It was late yesterday, you must read VRRP-BackupMaster functionality.
