Remove Switch from Fabric

Remove Switch from Fabric

I want to remove a Fabric switch.

Can I shut down the switch only?

Are there any commands needed in the remaining fabric?

You do not need to run any commands on the remaining fabric, just unplug/shutdown the switch being decommissioned.

If you run show commands like "show isis lsdb" you might still see references to the removed node, but they will time out in about 20 minutes and it's not something you need to clean up manually.

You can shutdown the OS by running the "sys shutdown" command.

Can you please share the shutdown command for the Fabric switch?
