Hello,
Since I upgraded my fabric to VOSS 8.1.0.0, I experience vlan flooding. I receive all traffic of a vlan on each ports belonging to the vlan. It’s the same behavior for every VSP 7200 an 8400 in the fabric in 8.1.0.0.
Does anyone have the same issue ?
Thanks,

quick update on this: The issue that was seen in this case was related to a InVSN forward to next hop filter that was pointing to another InVSN forward to next hop filter that was pointing back to the original device. Adjusting the filters resolved the flooding. So there is NO flooding issue with VSP release 8.0 nor 8.1.

Hi Roger,
- Are you talking about a bridged or routed environment? Bridged L2VSN
- I assume you use SPB, what UNI did you configure where you see flooding? It’s a C-Vlan UNI, ports in access mode
- How big is your fabric? 5 clusters of VSP7200 and 1 cluster of VSP8400
- Is it happening on all ISIDs or only on a sub-set? Did the switch learn the destination MACs but still floods? Yes, all ISIDs, traffic in a vlan is flooded to all ports belonging to the vlan of the switch (the same for each switch including VSP8400). The destination MAC is learned but there is still flooding. No changes have been made except an upgrade from 6.0.1.2 → 6.1.6.0 → 8.1.0.0
I opened a case on friday.
Thanks,

I haven't opened a case yet. I'm aware of the issue because my IPS is screaming about it, and if we downgrade to Voss 7 it goes away. I just don't have time to deal with it right now. I will open a case tomorrow.
