VSP 7200 EOS/EOL

VSP 7200 EOS/EOL

Hey All,

Trying to understand the VSP 7200 EOL schedule.

show sys-info returns this info...

7254XSQ: Part# EC720001X-E6

7254XTQ: Part# EC720002X-E6

From what I'm understanding this part number is the base chassis denoting the model# 1-4. These part numbers don't show up in any EOS/EOL documentation for the VSP7200 but I'm thinking our devices will fall into this schedule because of the snippet below.

For example, the base chassis for
EC7200A1F-E6 is EC720001X-E6

Can someone help me decipher what I'm looking at? Is there an additional show command to show a more specific part#?

Thanks!

the VSPs normally ship with pre-built bundles. If memory serves Avaya and Extreme didn't sell the VSP7200 with no FANs or PSUs.  So when the EoSale notices go out the part numbers are listed.   But internally we tracked the Chassis with its own part number.

The "A" at the 7th character and the "F" or "B" at the 9th character means its a bundle with one PSU and the corresponding air-flow fans.

The part numbers with a ZERO(0) 7th character and the "X" 9th character is just the bare-bones chassis.
