Hello!
Could you please tell about VSP Fabric analogue of EXOS PSTAG?
Is it switched UNI? If yes - what differences?
Thank you!

Alexandr, the only way I could envision this to work would be to create an external loopback cable where you connect two ISIDs together through a switched-UNI back to back interface. As I said, traffic ingressing on a port from two VLANs can not be switched together into the same ISID, you have to send it into two ISIDs. Those two ISIDs can then be looped together through an external cable.
Makes sense?

So how I can configure in Fabric VSP switch in case of “we have 2 clients in different VLANs (vlan 10 and 20), they connect to same port (UNI) and in this configuration - service VLAN is 30 (I-SID).” ? (to have PSTAG-like EXOS functions)
Because “switched UNI” functionality is describes what we need:
• Multiple VLANs must be part of the same broadcast domain.
• VLAN ID translation is required
Thank you!

no, on the same port you can’t bind two vlans to the same ISID, if this is what you are asking for.

Hello, Roger!
If we will take reverse situation - when we have 2 clients in different VLANs (vlan 10 and 20), they connect to same port (UNI) and in this configuration - service VLAN is 30 (I-SID). In this case would it be switching between them within one switch?
Thank you!
