Hello Larry, 

If you don't have any physical VOSS device, you can try with virtual VOSS VM. You can find details on Extreme Networks github.

Hello Larry,

I don't know if there exist default configuration files but if you make first a "terminal more disable" followed by a "show running-config verbose" and log this to disk then you have all default (and non default) configuration lines available for that VSP switch type and software version (can be different for each switch type and sw version depending on supported features).
