If I am understanding your question.... some Extreme Access Points can be configured in Client Bridge mode. Once this is done the Client Bridge AP can associate to another Access Point as if it were a wireless client, however there is no SAS functionality built into the operating system of the Access Point that is acting as a Client Bridge. You would need a wired SAS client on the Ethernet side of the Client Bridge Access Point to perform this type of testing.
