Apple have this:
https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT202628
Microsoft have this:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/mt484190(v=vs.85).aspx
Cisco have this:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-0/configuration-guide/b_cg80/b_cg80_chapt...
I've managed to bug Intel to create this:
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000021562.html
Maybe it's time for Extreme to create a new GTAC Knowledge Article?
GTAC Case # 01204953 would be a good starting place.....
Regards,
Rowan

Hi,
In ExtremeWireless WiNG, we have one feature called "Assisted Roaming".
Assisted Roaming: Enhanced roaming for sticky clients with 802.11v standards support. Works with any client device that supports 802.11v.

Hello Rowan,
I think the usage of this features depends on your clients environment/client driver capabilities. It would be usefull, if Extreme releases some informations of know working devices including driver release. The informations included in software release notes say nothing about the tested and support feature matrix, but the GTAC knowlegde base have serveral entries with recommendation mostly related to disabling this features because of client related bugs. Would be really great to know whats tested as really working.
Regards
Hartmut

I've watched the below YT video on the CWNP channel last night and it was worth every minute - "Lessons Learned Deploying an All Wireless Office"
Looks like it's "our" job to find out what is working and what isn't 😞
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RAyHNN_49Q
Here the link to the device/NIC list that was mentioned in the video...

Would be great if the GTAC could also post longer videos on the YT channel with more in-deep information.
