How to access AP3935i-fcc

Hi,

I have the AP3935i-fcc but I don't have anything to help me having access and configure that for internal using without cloud analytics, just like autonomous mode.

What should I do?

Thanks in advanced

Hi Rob,

here a link how you’d config it - controller required….

Hello Rob,

Tomasz is completely right. The AP3935 does not work without a controller and there is no standalone mode. You can configure the AP on a controller and then operate it without it (this corresponds to the controller failure case), but this is no fun.

Hi Rob,

As far as I remember IdentiFi/XCA/XCC APs (37xx, 38xx, 39xx) are incapable of standalone mode. In theory you could try to SSH (admin:new2day) and play with cset commands but it’s not a convenient task. Your AP may also reboot after a while (probably 255 seconds) if it fails to discover the controller.

Hope that helps,

Tomasz
