How to assign AP's to client balance as well as to band steer

I am trying to add 3 AP's to load balance as well as to do bandsteering, but i can add AP's to either load balance or to band steer , but not able to do both......

Ok in short... "roamed" is only yes if inter-controller roaming is going on.

i.e. client#1 connected to AP#1 which is local to controller#1 roams to AP#2 on controller#2.

If you've a big conference room you'd need to decide whether to run load or band steering.
As Dough mentioned both isn't possible.

I am not able to see atleast one client out of 80 in the active clients list - roamed as "yes".... how to confirm roaming is working or not. I want to achieve end users should bandsteer so that those whose devices Support 5ghz ac can get connected to ac and users should be balanced across ap's which are nearby..

The system only allows for one or the other, both cannot be configured at the same time.

Sorry I don't get it - why should roamed be "yes" just because you've turned on mobility?

"...any other alternative?" - could you please tell us what your problem is that requires to have both load balance AND band steering enabled.
