V2110 - Unrecognized Command

When trying to configure a V2110 at the below step in the initial configuration section i type

5 Enter the IP address for the appliance to the admin interface with the appliance
command:

EWC.enterasys.com:topology:Admin:l3# appliance address of appliance>

I get unrecognized command. Does anyoneone know why? I am using the 9.12.01.0067-1 as it's the only one that installed without an error.

Thanks guys for the replies. Ron's solution worked. My version of V-controller was very old.

Could you try it with a vlan other than 1, as Ron suggested, vlan 1 is an internal vlan?

Or you can change the internal vlan id

Here a example to configure the IP 10.12.0.2/24 on the ESA0 port with untag VLAN 100 AND enable mgmt traffic = GUI access....

V2110# topology V2110:topology# create "ESA0" physical 100 port esa0 untag 10.12.0.2/24

V2110:topology# ESA0

V2110:topology:ESA0# l3

V2110:topology:ESA0:l3# mgmt enable

V2110:topology:ESA0:l3# apply

It still complains about this bit

create "Management" physical 1 port esa0 untag 10.26.0.166/20

What should it be for a virtual c2110. a show l2ports has

esa0/esa1/admin
