Slow speed on wifi AX ap305c

Recent up to date different brands laptops get only 5/10 Mbit if they use default AX.  Effectively sabotaging their Teams sessions.

If they set windows driver to N or AC ... speed is 80 Mbit ...

This is a well known issue on recent AP firmware?

Hello Leo,

In this case you may want to start by configuring the best practices settings on the radio profiles as a first step. If issue persists once this is done, we can run some tests to see what may be happening. The default radio profile settings may not be ideal for your environment.

I would recommend you contact GTAC directly and open a case since this is a critical environment and we'll need visibility into your network to configure the optimal settings for said environment.

Fairly default, as I would not dream of changing esoteric technical things I do not understand.

This is a real life situation ( university hospital ) with a blend of all kind of wifi radio technology.

The failure is on recent up-to-date high end laptops Dell XPS

Dell xps 13 9310

Killer(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 160MHz Wireless Network Adapter (201D2W)

Intel 15/08/2023

Hello @Leo_Bistmans1,

Let's start here:

1 - Which AP?

2 - Which firmware version?

3 - Are you using the default radio profiles?

4 - Do all wireless devices support 802.11ax?
