I have an Altitude 4610 AP that is not adopting and when I plug it in both LEDs stay solid. What does this mean? The installation manual does not mention both LEDs on solid. Thanks for any help.

Hi William,

Both LEDs solid on means either that the AP is booting, or it is adopted but not configured. Since it is not adopting, I suspect that this AP is stuck i the boot process and may need replacement. If you check the port statistics on the switch port it is connected to, I would not expect to see any packets received. In EXOS, this command would be 'show port statistics'. If the RX counter is not incrementing, I would suggest opening an RMA with GTAC.
