Hi qinitram,
The AP650 is a controller dependent AP and requires a WLC.

The AP650 is a dependant AP which will not operate if not adopted by a controller.

All three digit WiNG 5 APs (AP621/AP622/AP650) require a WLC (Wireless Lan Controller).
