Have converted two 4532's to 6532's and one 4522 to a 6522. Is there any way to configure a 6532 running as a virtual controller so that it can also manage the 6522? I can see all three via mint, but can't seem to adopt the 22 from the 32. Have run these before with appliance based controllers and was wondering if there is some type of workaround for my small test environment with these three ap's? Thanks in advance!

Hi Eric,
please find document called The Best Practices and Recommendations and check page 22, article Virtual Controller.
Rule of thumb is that only same platform will follow limited configuration provided by virtual controller.
Regards,
Ondrej

Hi,
you can try it with the WiNG 5.9. and a ANYAP profile.

That won't work due unsupported platform checksum in MLPC transaction.
It is similar to what we discussed here

A VC can only adopt other AP of the same models. You're a perfect candidate for a VX9000 deployment.

Hello Erick
This is not possible.
You can not manage two models of APs when we use the virtual controller.
The only solution is to use some NX service platform or the RFS4000
