controller assisted mobility will help ?

We have in some warehouse, is divided with 2 ip segments. We have here only unmanaged switches, with 20 pices of AP6532 and 20-25 wireless clients.
We need to make wireless clients to roam between 2 ip segments.
If we configure VC with controller assisted mobility + layer3 adoption, it will make the roaming work?
Or just only way is buy NX/VX for tunneling WLAN traffic to controller ?
Thanks

Hi Aviv,

To use controller assisted mobility you will need to tunnel traffic back to the controller and the Virtual controller does not support tunneling.
You will need to ensure you purchase a controller that supports tunneled traffic if you want to use controller assisted mobility.

Please see related article below.

Additional note:
The VX does not support tunneling

Kind Regards
Daren

Yes,
VX does not support tunneling.
Please be advised that even if it is working in your environment, it is not a supported configuration on the VX platform.
As you noted it does not have a dataplane.

I was sure tunneling with VX is working but not recommended since is not have a dataplane .
Are you sure?

Wow,
The VX does not support tunneling
Thanks
