We currently have a tunneled network setup and would like to convert it to a bridge network can anyone tell me the steps that i would need to take to make that happen so we can add more WAPs to our network ?

Thanks

The NX7500 can adopt up to 1024 APs when WLANs are tunneled and 2048 APs when WLANs are locally bridged.

Hope this helps,

What is the max amount of AP licenses that i can add to the NX5500 cluster ?

In a cluster the max amount of AAP licenses that can be used would be the max allowed number of licenses one of the controllers can handle, else you will lose redundancy.

In local bridging mode the NX5500 controller supported 512 AAP licenses.

Hello,

Step 1: Add your VLAN tag(s) as tagged to the switchports that are connected to your AP's.
Step 2: Create "bridged@AP" interface from the "Configure > Policy > VLAN" menu. Select the checkbox 'tagged' next to your vlan interface
Step 3: Change your current WLAN profiles Default VLAN to your newly created bridged@AP VLAN. (assuming you are not using role-base VLAN attribution)
