Hi you

I used RFS 4010 and AP 7562 with Wing 5.9. How to hide SSID?
I uncheck Broadcast SSID but signal still online.

Hello Tuan,

Should you still need it, here's an article on hiding the SSID: https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/How_To/How-to-hide-the-SSID-from-being-broadcast-on-an-Extreme-Networks-WiNG-AP

No, you can having multiple SSIDs operating on the same AP. This is perfectly normal behavior and most deployments do have more than 1 SSID operating on their APs.

Thanks @Chris Kelly

All Ap are droped to Controller same FW. Does creating multiple SSID cause interference?

Tuan,
If you are still seeing the SSID in beacons, it's not coming from any APs that are managed by this controller...unless maybe the APs were already configured to broadcast the SSID and then the controller was upgraded but the APs were not.

Question: How are you confirming that the SSID is still being broadcast?

I suspect that you are seeing the SSID coming from some other APs.
The only way to confirm is to locate the BSSID of one of these broadcast and then determine that the BSSID is coming from one of your APs.
