No Hostname in the tab clients

No Hostname in the tab clients

In use VX9000, firmware 7.6.3.0-012R.
How can I achieve that the hostname is also entered in the clients tab at hostname.

Why can't I see which AP the client is connected to.

Would be a good addition

Johan,

As a quick test, use the CLI and run the command:

show wireless client detail on <rfdomain>

The very first line of output will the the “ADDRESS” information. This row should include both the MAC and the hostname information. See if the hostname is shown here.

This is what I see. Devic is in DNS an device has a hostname.

Johan,

This is what I see:

The hostname will either be what has been assigned directly on the WiNG controller or the hostname that exist on the device itself (however it got it). It’s possible though that a device may have no assigned hostname though.
