RFS 4000 does not update configuration of adopted AP7562. Version of RFS 5.9.2.0-032R, version of AP's 5.9.2.5-001R. All devices in same RF domain, autoinstall configuration is on.

Hello Roman,
Once you have copied the AP firmware image file .img up to your RFS4000 controller you can confirm the same version of AP firmware is resident on your RFS4000 controller:

Verify by:

  1. Via CLI access on RFS4000 key in en and press (enable prompt)
  2. key in show device-upgrade versions and press
The AP model and same firmware as the RFS4000 should show here:

This should allow your AP's to complete adoption and obtain configuration from the RFS4000 controller

Hope this helps

Hello Roman,

The firmware on both the APs and controller should be the same for the config to correctly propagate to the APs. Upgrade one or downgrade the other so that the firmware matches.

If you run the command #show adoption status, you should see 'version mismatch' in the CFG-STAT column.

Thank you,
