Questions,
can POE be used to power the unit for the MESH
Process isnt exactly clear on how to setup a mesh- A guide of any kind will work
How many devices can put into a mesh, My count that I want to add is 5 devices.
The error I see when setting up the meshpoint one of the devices is “Mesh loop prevention off” all wired traffic is allowed.”
The designated Central AP for the meshpoint is now stuck in the boot loop after adding the 2nd AP to the Meshpoint to the radio’s.
Thanks in

Hello,
1 - 2 Meshed APs cannot be connected to the same wired network. This will create a loop. One AP should be connected to the network and the other should be completely segregated.
2 - Yes you can power up meshed APs via POE
3 - Attached are some instructions on setting up mesh on APs. If some setting are no longer there, just ignore them.
4 - If setting those up in the office/lab, make sure that they are a few feet apart and that the radio power is turned down to 1. Once mesh is established you can increase power prior to installing at final destination
5 - Make sure they are all running on the latest 7.x firmware

Hello,
I followed these instructions for 2 of 5 AP310i without success. When I connect alone the non root AP, it never connects to the mesh (static IP is ok).
Do you need to configure CLI firewall rules on each AP or only on the non-root ? Could it be the problem ?
I have same firmware 7.7.1.10-004R installed on the 5 AP310i.
At step "Non-Unicast Transmit Rate: Lowest Configured Basic Rate", I have to change Radio Settings -> Tramsmit Frame Size Limit for 64 (max) else I have an error when I click the Ok button.
Maybe an updated document exists for my firmware because it's different now?
