In addition to what Stephan recommended, some older wireless clients can’t see SSIDs coming from WIFI 6 APs when 802.11ax is enabled. You can also test by disabling 802.11ax to see if the SSID will be visible to said clients

Here’s a link with instructions on enabling and disabling this parameter: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000085792

I hope this helps,

Another point can be the channel. Some devices are not able to see channel 12 and 13 in 2.4 Ghz (depending on the country they made for). In addition if you are using 5 GHz. Some devices are not able to use channels > 48.

Thanks for the response. But as I already checked laptops having issue capable of both 2.4ghz & 5ghz and it can see other SSID. Only unable to see SSID configured in VX9000. Also AP's are broadcasting both the bands.

Hello,

a common cause for this behavior is that the SSID is only broadcasting in 5GHz, but the laptop is only capable of 2.4GHz. Therefore check on what Radio on what frequenze the SSID is broadcasted.
