We are using a VX9000 controller and all AP's communicate to that device. We have 2 AP's at a site that are DHCP right now (others are all static). We can go into the AP via command line - set the static IP and default gateway etc. Commit the changes. Then in about 5 minutes the AP's revert to their old DHCP address. We confirmed that the IP are working (can use telnet to devices with the new static IP) and then we loose connection as the device reverts.
version 7.5.2.0-039R
Looking for some assistance here. Thank you!

I am working with Cameron via a support case. Issue is due to "multiband-band-operation" enabled on the WLANs that are mapped to the AP7522s. The AP7522 does not support "multiband-band-operation". When modifying adopted AP via VX, when trying to save, error is observed. Cameron will disable "multiband-band-operation" on the mapped WLANs and save accordingly. Once completed, should be no issues statically assigning IP to AP7522s.

Thank you for this information - we are delayed in testing this solution due to an inventory that is happening for another week.

Hello Cambo,
You should not make the change on the AP itself, this should be done from the controller. If you make the change on the AP and save, it will pull the override information previously stored on the controller and overwrite your configs.
