Upgraded firmware from 7.31.02.0010, directly to 8.01.01.0251 or higher.
Symptoms
Windows XP-SP3 clients cannot connect to the Wireless VNS using PSK authentication.
Other systems, including Windows 7, Linus, and Apple Mac devices, are able to connect.
Cause
An apparent result of the one-step upgrade without staging through 7.31.06.0007 as recommended in release notes (
15070).
Solution/Workaround
Avoid this issue by using the recommended staged upgrade process.
Workaround:
Resolve this issue by changing the PSK password to another value and saving the configuration, then changing it back to the original value and saving the configuration.
