Can the power consumption be reduced on an x450a-24t?

I just picked up a x450a-24t switch. It draws about 60 Watts at idle. Is there any way to reduce the idle power consumption?

I noticed the fan speed did not change after starting up, is this expected or is there a configuration for allowing variable fan speed?

Hi Christopher, The X450a (and all of the "G1" models) has a single speed fan. Most of the "G2" models have reduced power consumption and variable speed fans. I'm not aware of anything that you could do to reduce the power usage.
