Network design using an Identifi C35 and 30 APs.
When it comes to how to design the network I am a bit confused.
Is there a network all the APs reside on And then various networks related to WLANS?
IE:
192.168.0.1/24 (AP network)
192.168.100.1/2...
I am building out a 250 person floor.
I've settled on using 1U 48 port switches.
My thoughts on design were this...
Top of stack: X460-G2-48t-10GE4
Center of stack: X440-48t-10G
Bottom of stack: X460-G2-48t-10GE4

Trying to create an LACP to a Dell S6000.

50 Default E A 10G FULL
On the summit, when I look on the dell it's up 10G full duplex also.

So the one peice of information I am confused on now is.... Which module do I need?
For stacking wise, would getting a 2x 10GBE in the back be ok to stack to the X440 from the X460?
IE: Summit X460-G2 VIM-2x
I am growing out a 250 person floor, all machines nfs mount homes/programs.
I am looking for speed/redundancy. My link to my datacenter (offsite) is a 40GBE connection (where storage resides).
So I would like decent bandwidth but not the sole need....
Our routing will be handled by a much beefier core stack.
My last question is what model #'s would the stacking module + cables be? Just so I can be sure when I ask for quotes they get me exactly what I need.
I believe we will be going with the X46...
I understand that it would limit the stable size on the X460 to what it is on the X440...
But 250 people on a floor, 2 floors (trying to move to using stacks on each floor).
The table size limit... with only 250 people on a stack... Shouldn't the 1...
