As Patrick pointed out, theoretically there isn't a need of that command, but I personally have ran into that problem in the lab and that's just a small 'work-around' it.

Since I only saw 1 command under the "Extreme config" I would go ahead and mention that make sure you have "create vlan mgmt99 tag 99" command in there too.
that will specify the "vlan ID". right now the switch looks at the "vlan name"...
I understood your earlier posts as, 10.10.10.1 is the IP address of VLAN10 in extreme 400 Switch. If that's true, then you can't use 10.10.10.1 for ASA5512x inside ip interface, however you can/should use 10.10.10.1 as a 'default GATEWAY' in ASA5512...
