Hello. I have the same problem with 2 Ap's. Firmware 6.5r1b. Could you send me the firmware files? Then I can try it the way its described in your link.

Hey Lars,

Have you tried upgrading the firmware only and not including the configuration? You might also try upgrading the firmware to 8.4r11 first and then upgrading to 10.0r7. I'm currently running AP130's with 10.0rX firmware without issues.

Would you be able to try updating the firmware via the Web UI of the AP instead? This guide reviews how to do this: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Upgrading-AP-firmware-via-web-UI

 

There is no known issue that I'm aware of that would cause that update to fail.
