Enterprise auth with Radius on AP and AD connect not working properly

Enterprise auth with Radius on AP and AD connect not working properly

We have some APs set up as radius server. They connect to our AD.

For one SSID we have enterprise auth set up. All users in AD group "WLAN" are allowed to connect.

This is working fine, unless the user is in more than 3 or 4 AD groups. If the user is in more than 4 AD groups (including WLAN), the authentication will fail and user is directed to VLAN with no access.

Any ideas where to get more information or how to resolve the problem?

I don't think it is HiveOS related, 'cause it just started on Monday. Until then everything was fine.

Problem occurs no matter on which AP the user tries to connect and no matter which of the 3APs that have radius active.

Nevertheless, here our versions:

AP350 6.5r12

AP245X 10.0r7

AP122 10.0r7

AP1130 10.0r7

Hivemanager 19.5.1.7-NGVA on premise.

This was an issue with some of our older firmware, could you tell me what firmware version your APs are using currently? If the APs are fully updated, you may need to file a support case to look in to that further.
