That is true, the best way to make sure is to console in to the AP so you can watch the CLI while holding down the reset button. You'll see five reboot messages, then a message registering that five reboot commands means to reset, and then it should reset to factory default settings.

thanks for answering. for some reason it didn't work, however I've been to the location and connected directly on the same netw. it seems the option can be disabled from config.

There is a physical reset pin-hole button on the AP, you'd want to hold that down for 10 seconds or until you see the LED flash off and back on again. Or you can run the command "reset config" on the CLI of the AP, either will set the AP back to default settings.
