Hi is there a difference between http:// and HTTP://?
I am on the same network I can ping the AP`s but in the hive manager there is no password set, but the default one is it "aerohive" or "aerohive1" does not work, if I set the password in the hivemanager it still does not let me login? so I cant see how to update the firmware unless it can be done via the console?

Sounds like the firmware is too low to be managed by HiveManager/XIQ. Which AP model(s)?
You'll need to get access to the web interface to upload the firmware to them directly, are you going to the http address (http://IPofAP) rather than HTTP? Are you on a separate network to the APs themselves? Can you ping them at all?

Hi sorry they are running 6.5r4 I cannot logon locally through the web interface, I have tried rebooting the AP`s and made sure they are allowed through the firewall? lost now
