Hello,

If you are using Classic, this will help you reconnect that AP: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/CAPWAP-HiveManager-Classic

If you are using HiveManager (formerly NG), this guide will help: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/CAPWAP-Guide-for-HiveManager-NG

Once the AP reconnects, you'll wan to push a complete configuration to it.

Make sure the port is in switchport mode access on the switch if you reset the AP. Once it discovers it, you can put the port back into trunk mode and then reconfigure the AP

Me again, I'm pretty sure it's lost it's pre configured configuration, will have a look as to how to re configure... if you can send through how and the settings, it may speed up the progress...

thanks,

Jonno

We've had a problem with one of our new access points, I removed it and it hasn't re-discovered. I've changed the POE box and points other access points work but this one has no luck.

I removed it from the aerohive ap list ( had a mind blank at the time) and cannot move it from the unmanaged back into the managed ap section.

*To answer your question..*

*Nothing - When I connect it back into the school... nothing appears. I've
had to add it in via the serial number.

Can we roll the setup back to last Tuesday??

Thanks
