Summary
As of February 15, 2025, Extreme Networks will remove Switch Engine and Summit EXOS software revisions noted in the ‘Software Affected’ section from the Extreme Support Portal and will no longer distribute those software images. Customers and partners should refer to the ‘Solutions’ section below for recommended software revisions. Customers and Partners needing affected software revisions must download them from the portal prior to February 15, 2025.
Background
As of February 15, 2025, Extreme Networks will remove Switch Engine and Summit EXOS software revisions noted in the 'Software Affected' section from the Extreme Support Portal and will no longer distribute those software revisions. Customers and partners should refer to the ‘Solutions’ section below for recommended software revisions
Impact
Customers and Partners must download any affected software images prior to February 15, 2025. These affected versions will no longer be eligible for software fixes or patches (i.e., End of Version Maintenance) and the images will not be available from the Extreme Networks support portal. Customers will need to upgrade to stay current in Extreme Networks’ software lifecycle and to receive software fixes.

After February 15, 2025, Extreme Networks will only provide access to these software images, along with subsequent patches and releases:
- 31.3.100.37
- 31.4.1.12
- 31.5.1.15
- 31.7.3.37.patch1-59
- 32.7.1.9.patch1-68
- 33.1.1.31 and all later releases
- 33.1.100.133
