We have performed an XMC upgrade from Extreme Management Centre to 8.3.1. to Extreme Management Center 8.5.2.6 on a VM platform. The issue we have is that certain menu functions are now missing from the Alarms and events page. there is no drop down box option and also the alarm configuration tab is missing - and no right click menu, which means we cannot clear alarms. also there are missing menu options in the Admin tab - i.e we only have certificates / Options / Device types and Diagnostic tabs all the rest are missing Our customer originally had NetSight Suite 8.0.3.53 installed , but after issues with trying to do a straight upgrade we deployed a fresh version of 8.3.1.1 on a new VM and then imported the 0.0.53 database file to it, then upgraded the 8.3 .1 version to 8.5.2.6. Even on the 8.3 version the menu options were missing. Any ideas ?

Perfect… as soon as i saw your reply I just realised that i was still logging in with the initial root user name !! changed it to a configured one in user table and tabs were all there
