sounds like a great idea. I think you should post your request under topic "idea" and create a feature request. Inspection traffic with PurView and the create a policy based on the protocols/ports used by the application would be a very useful feature. This would make life more easy, if you have to create a policy for applications/device you don't know many about of it.
