I’m trying to help a client with a wireless bridge configuration between buildings using AP305’s on ExtremeCloud IQ. I’m also testing in my home lab with an AP305 and an AP650. I’ve enabled Backhaul Mesh Link on the 2.4 radios and set the channel to 11 on both AP’s, leaving the 5GHz for client access in my scenario. I cannot get the bridge to come up when I disconnect the AP305 from the network.
I’ve also tried working through the following KB article, but I cannot figure out how to create the Classification rules in #7 to apply the Parent and Child Mesh AP templates to the Cloud Configuration Groups.

This page reviews how to set up classification rules: http://docs.aerohive.com/330000/docs/help/english/ng/Content/gui/configuration/viewing-classificatio...
Additionally, I’d recommend going through the CLI troubleshooting outlined in this guide to narrow down the issue with the Mesh connection: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000056710
