Can an Alert be set up to trigger when a NAC rule is used?

Is it possible to alert from the XMC on either of these NAC conditions?

  • If a specific rule is hit in the NAC rule list.  For example send an email if the Default Catchall rule was used.
  • If a specific error condition in the End System Events occurred.  For example if a user had an error connecting with 802.1x.
If it is possible I would love having some guidance on setting up the alert.
Thanks!

Hi Robert,
Yes you can trigger that.
Have a look in the notification tab of Control:
